Important: The client application does not collect or transmit:

Files, documents, or content from your device
Browser history or system information
Any data beyond what is necessary for tunnel operation

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

Service Operation: To establish and maintain secure tunnel connections between your devices

5.1. Encrypted Traffic

All traffic transmitted through PortForward.Pro tunnels is encrypted using HTTPS (TLS). Our relay servers act as a transparent proxy — they forward encrypted traffic between endpoints without decrypting or inspecting the content.

We cannot and do not access the actual data being transmitted through your tunnels (e.g., HTTP requests, SSH sessions, database queries).

5.2. Server Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect our infrastructure:

Regular security updates and patching
Network-level firewalls and intrusion detection
Access controls and authentication for administrative systems
Monitoring for suspicious activity

Limitation: While we take reasonable precautions to secure our systems, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for securing your local services before exposing them through the Service.

6. Third-Party Services

PortForward.Pro may use third-party infrastructure providers to host our relay servers (e.g., cloud hosting providers). These providers may have access to server infrastructure but do not have access to your tunnel traffic content.

We do not currently use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services on our website or in the client application.

7. User Responsibilities

While PortForward.Pro provides encrypted tunnels, you are responsible for:

Server ID Sharing: Only share your Server ID with trusted individuals. Anyone with your Server ID can establish connections to your forwarded ports
Compliance: Ensure that your use of the Service complies with applicable laws and does not violate the privacy rights of others

We recommend using additional security layers (e.g., SSH keys, HTTPS, application-level authentication) for sensitive services.

8. Children's Privacy
